When her grandfather died and left debt everywhere, Kit Tyler paid all the debts by selling everything she owned in Barbados. When a butterball faced man insists on marrying her, she leaves for her Aunt Rachel's domicile. When she arrives in the Connecticut Colony, she finds that she doesn't quite adjust to her Puritan family's lifestyle and rules. She tries her best to fit in but is still unhappy with herself. Then she meets a Quaker named Hannah Tupper who is supposedly a witch. She feels at peace with Hannah and will practice annihilation to go on her safe. Even if information technology ways being defendant of witchcraft. This book was absolutely legendary and explained that nosotros take choices and that information technology is okay to be dissimilar. If I had to rate this book, I would give information technology a 150/100. That is how expert information technology is. I seriously recommend this book to everyone.

When Kit'due south grandpa dies she is forced to leave her home on the island of Barbados. and now she must bring together her strictly puritan relatives in America. But Kit tin't seem to fit in the quiet puritan life. But then she meets Hannah, a quiet sometime Quaker who is believed to be witch, Kit 'south life changes. and she knows she'll do annihilation to keep Hannah from harm, fifty-fifty if she is accused of witchcraft herself. This story was actually touching. And it provided a glimpse of what life was like during the witch trials, when innocent people where put to death for being accused of witchcraft.

This is the most dull book I have always read in my whole life. Would not recommend.
This is one of the best books I have always read. I had to read this volume for school and I thought it would be wearisome and and then later the showtime chapter I was surprised. It is about a daughter named Kit who is xvi.She is also courageous, outgoing, stubborn, and educated. In the book she is a social outcast. She goes on a send to Connecticut.

This is a fantastic book! It is a must read. It is very well written
This is one of my favorite books of all time. It follows a remarkable and spirited young woman as she finds out who she wants to be and faces great adversity. There are cute friendships, thrilling plot twists, and inspiring characters. A truly well-written novel!
